Hauptman Selected As New Jersey Super Lawyer
Partner Martin D. Hauptman has been selected as one of New Jersey's Super Lawyers 2005 through 2009, recognized by several thousand attorneys throughout the Garden State as outstanding in the disciplines of employee benefits, estate planning, trusts and tax law.
Martin Hauptman is recognized in New Jersey as one of the leading practitioners in the design and drafting of qualified plans, as well as estate, corporate and individual tax planning. He is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), bringing to his practice a deep understanding of the complexities of tax and pension law. Among his many legal accomplishments are the successful implementation of wealth preservation strategies, based upon a unique combination of income/estate tax reduction and maximization of asset values; a national reputation for designing retirement and pension plans that reduce client taxes while enhancing the value of invested retirement plan assets; and a skilled interpretation of tax law that has established him as a valuable resource for other attorneys and accounting professionals.
Hauptman & Richmond, P.A. is cited in Lexis Nexis Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review with the highest rating for ethical standards and legal ability, and is included in the Bar Registry for Preeminent Lawyers. Both Hauptman and his partner have been awarded several other honors over the years, such as listings in multiple Who's Who organizations.
New Jersey Super Lawyers are selected through a process undertaken by Law & Politics Magazine, in which the publication performs the polling, research and selection of Super Lawyers. The procedure is designed to identify attorneys who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Nominees are grouped into more than 60 practice areas, with only five percent of the attorneys in New Jersey named Super Lawyers for 2005 through 2009.
